Comparing Other Bible Versions to the King James Version and/or 1599 Geneva Bible
A detailed Description of the first four days of creation can be found in a recent book named “To Open one’s Eyes” can be purchased after release at BookBaby Bookstore in early 2025.
The Holy Bible is God’s Truth, and each one of us will see it differently from the next. With each of us individually, our version of truth according to what is in our corrupt heart and mind will be wrong as compared to what is God’s Holy Truth. As such, every translation of the Bible, some worse than others, the hearts, and minds of the authors even without intention will distort scripture to fit their own hearts rather than God’s one truth. Herein are sound reasons to stay with the first versions translated, as they will have the least error.
Based on scripture of the three parts of Genesis 1:2, supported by scripture pointing to God’s Truth of those three parts, the understanding God’s purpose for the morning stars, and the five (5) firsts as indicated by capital letters in Genesis verses 1:5, 1:8, y 1:10, I compared sixty-one Holy Bible versions.
1611 RV
Gen 1:
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was
upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon
the face of the waters.
1599 GNV
Gen 1:
2 And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was
upon the deep, and the Spirit of God moved upon the waters.
Not surprised, of sixty-one Holy Bible versions compared, I found only eight that did not distort creation in any way. Three were of the King James genre (AKJV, KJV21, RV), One was the 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV), Two that were of the Revised Standard genre (RSV, RSVCE), the Orthodox Jewish Version (OJV), and the BRG.
Of those that did distort creation, the distortion was sometimes slight, but also in many other versions the distortion was profound, leading away from these verses which otherwise would point to an understandable sequence of creation clarified by separate scripture found throughout the Holy Bible.
Whether intentional or not, all Bible versions are written to the hearts of the author(s) rather than the truth of the scripture in varying degrees of disruption. The least amount of disruption will come from those who had the most to lose. This is one reason why, when I use biblical scripture, I reference only the King James Version with clarity when needed from the 1599 Geneva translation and a Greek Hebrew translation dictionary.
Creation is explained in detail in a recent book “To Open Ones Eyes” but for this comparison extremely condensed, Jesus is not created but formed, from God shown with combined scripture from Jeremiah, Isaías, Proverbios, John; 1st John, Luke and Revelation) because he is God. This was completed before creation started and was necessary to complete God as our God Almighty (the Trinity or Godhead) to fulfill God’s plan for all creation. Before his birth (Proverbios, John), he was God and possessed by God before anything was, and at birth, Jesus was formed or born the Son (lucas, Isaías), formed by the Father (Jermiah) to have life within himself, and is also one with the Father (John 5:26; John 14:10) to complete the formation of God Almighty as one in triplicate (the Trinity, Godhead). As noted above, such was a requirement to fulfill God’s plan for all creation.
Génesis 1:2 chronology is better understood if considered as “before anything was.” As with any project this is the preparation before the beginning, the putting of pieces and tools into place before a project begins, and then Genesis 1:3 is the beginning as the start of creation with the light of the 1st morning star.
