The Eye of the Needle
Thread a Camel Through the Eye of a Needle
This is not what it seems to be. Learn the history and read the Bible.
In Jerusalem, as in many fortress cities of the time, besides all the gate entrances there was also a secret entrance. These secret entrances in many cities were small and narrowly built so that if discovered they could be easily defended.
I read some who say there is not any evidence that such passages even existed. I find the evidence in the Holy Bible that they did.
2nd Kings 25:
4 And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees were against the city roundabout : ) and the king went the way toward the plain.
These passages would have to be small and narrow so they could easily be defended if discovered. Stories tell that camels could fit, if they were without load and lowered to their knees to crawl through. They were trained to do so, and it was a very difficult task both to train the camels to do and for the camels to accomplish. This was called “threading a camel through the eye of a needle”. Yes, they were difficult to train and difficult to do, but not impossible, as with God nothing is impossible.
Is this what Jesus meant? I thank God that we all have differing opinions because if we were all the same, we would be all together as one in misery. God made each one of us, nearing eight billion in number, unique. Unique in DNA, unique fingerprints, unique in our independent thought patterns, and each one of us has a unique personal relationship with God … whether we like it or not!
Read about our unique relationship with God in “To Open One’s Eyes”. Learn why different versions of the Bible do not read the same. Learn why the Holy Bible is a living gift from God, and our guide to life. Learn the truth of creation, the seventieth week, how to recognize Satan’s counterfeit miracles, and much more in the eye-opening book, “To Open One’s Eyes”.
This book separates itself from the norm of Christian books, using scripture to expose many biblical mysteries and reintroduce lost knowledge. It can be purchased for $19.99.
